Openwarterclubs Oxford, created in 2014, now has over 50 members and a full committee. Its home is Queenford Lake.
We are a vibrant and active club, representing a mix of leisure and competitive open-water swimmers. We do swim during the normal lake opening times, but also organise extra sessions for long-distance swimmers, winter swimmers and social swims in the river. We attend some events as a club, organise swimming and multi-sport weekend trips and non-swimming socials too. And we meet up with other openwaterclubs and swimming groups.
To join, please fill in the membership form and pay online.
Give us a few days to process your applications and you will receive a confirmation email. You will also receive a membership card and club hat when you join us.
Openwaterclubs Oxford Membership also gives you:
- discounted entry (£4) at Little Marlow Lake, Marlow and access to river swims with HOWSC
- 10% off entry fees to the Henley Swim Events (www.henleyswim.com)
- 10% off Take 3’s services (www.take3tri.co.uk/)
- 10% off The musculoskeletal and sports injury clinic – Blackberry Clinic Oxford (www.blackberryclinic.co.uk/oxford)
