Openwarterclubs Oxford, created in 2014, now has over 50 members and a full committee. Its home is Queenford Lake.

We are a vibrant and active club, representing a mix of leisure and competitive open-water swimmers. We do swim during the normal lake opening times, but also organise extra sessions for long-distance swimmers, winter swimmers and social swims in the river. We attend some events as a club, organise swimming and multi-sport weekend trips and non-swimming socials too. And we meet up with other openwaterclubs and swimming groups.

To join, please fill in the membership form and pay online. PLEASE NOTE : MEMBERSHIP IS NOW CLOSED FOR THE SEASON MAY 2018-APRIL 2019

Give us a few days to process your applications and you will receive a confirmation email. You will also receive a membership card and club hat when you join us.

You can join the club at one of the training sessions first, as a trial. Our insurance covers you for 2 trial sessions. Look out for our Captain Katia Vastiau or any other members of the club (ask for us at the clubhouse) or email [email protected]
