Wednesday 2nd July at 6pm marks the first interclubs competition between the 4 new clubs. Taking place at Marlow open water club site at: The Westhorpe Watersport Centre, Westhorpe Farm, Westhorpe Farm Lane, Little Marlow, SL7 3RQ

The competition will be a friendly, focussing on "fun" competition.

Richard Stannard (aka the Fish), and Jas Thorpe have a really exciting format lined up that is designed to accommodate novice as well as experienced open water swimmers. You will certainly get some swimming tips on the night on how to go faster!

It will start with running a timed loop over a set distance, and then based on the finishing times make sure we have some evenly matched teams ready for the relays afterwards. I won't spoil the surprise too much, but they have got really exciting format lined up, that will involved lots of shouting and screaming for team mates

To take part in this event you need to be a member of one of the clubs. The cost to become a member us only £30 and the benefits are fantastic. See leaflet at the bottom. You can pay on the night and this will immediately entitle you to your discounted lake entry and all the benefits. I'll be there (Jeremy), and there promises to be a big Marlow turnout (upto 20 members). Henley, Oxford and Reading, get over and show them what you're made of.
